Why This Reference Exists
Georgia provides public access to many records connected with detention and release, but those records do not live in one system. The Talbot County Sheriff's Office creates local booking, transfer, and release records. Talbot County courts hold bond orders, dispositions, sentences, and probation orders. The Georgia Department of Corrections runs the state offender search and maintains state corrections records. The Georgia State Board of Pardons and Paroles and Department of Community Supervision cover separate parts of parole and community supervision.
Federal cases use still different sources. The Bureau of Prisons locator applies to federal prison custody, the U.S. Marshals Service manages federal detainees during the court process, and ICE operates its immigration detainee locator. Georgia VINELink provides participating-agency custody notifications but is not a complete release archive. This site brings those boundaries, official links, and record-request steps into one Talbot County resource so readers can begin with the right custodian.
Information Organized Here
The material is arranged around the questions that arise after someone leaves a jail roster or moves to another custody system. Each topic keeps county, state, federal, court, registry, and supervision records distinct.
- The home page combines the named-person search path with detailed guidance on Talbot County release records.
- The Release Date Lookup, VINE Inmate Check, and Post-Release Supervision pages address different status questions.
- Facility and agency pages identify the official source, location, phone information, and correct release-confirmation route for each system.
- Recent-release pages explain the lack of an official Talbot County 24-hour or 72-hour feed and give official fallback methods.
- Records guidance explains how court, sheriff, GDC, parole, federal, immigration, and registry records differ.
Our Role and Limits
Talbot County Released Inmates is privately run. It is not connected with Talbot County, the Talbot County Sheriff's Office, any court, jail, corrections department, parole or supervision agency, registry, or federal office. We do not hold government records and cannot confirm a person's present custody or release status. Official information comes from the agency that created or maintains the record.
- We cannot release, detain, transfer, or locate a person on behalf of an agency.
- We cannot post bond, arrange a visit, deliver funds, or act for a person in custody.
- We do not provide legal advice or interpret a court order for an individual case.
- We cannot guarantee that a government office's published phone, fee, address, schedule, or online record has not changed.
Only the responsible government agency can give authoritative custody, charge, transfer, and release information; this private reference does not replace that confirmation.
Search Partner Disclosure
Some pages contain search boxes supplied by independent third-party providers. Those providers control their own databases, terms, prices, signup process, and search results. A search tool may lead to a paid product or subscription. If a visitor completes a qualifying purchase or signup through a partner tool, this site may receive a referral fee. That support helps keep the Talbot County reference pages available without charging readers for access to the editorial content. We do not set a partner's prices, control the records it returns, or guarantee that its result matches an official government record.
